Almost. It is installed below the shelf below the sink. There area just below the sink is open for soap and other stuff.

I may be the line wolf here, but we do not have a dishwasher and I don't mind at all. At least I didn't. Now after reading about how everyone loves theirs, not so sure. Oh honey.........

I think what you were wondering is whether the Dishwasher is in the same cabinet as the sink, and yes. The dishwasher will fill the full width of the sink cabinet, and about 1/2 to 2/3s the height. The Dealer will either have to order a replacement cabinet, or do some serious modifications to add a bottom and a bottom trim and new smaller cabinet doors.
Noticed mine was catching a little when it opens, and looked closer and it's actually sliding into the cabinet on one side. Time to start taking some stuff apart to find out what is going on.

I think I'll opt for an outdoor tv first. I like washing dishes.

Mine slipped right in with no required modification nor new trim. The dealer replaced the two cabinet doors with smaller/ shorter doors. The dishwasher looks like it was molded into the cabinet. Really great addition and professionally done.

So what do the cabinet doors close against at the bottom, and what covers the top of the Dishwasher?

There is no need for any trim. The a dishwasher inserts into the lower of the two spaces. The taller cabinet doors are replaced with RW supplied shorter doors which provide access to the upper shelf area and match the other wood surfaces. The F-P dishwasher does come with trim that, when installed is hidden for protecting the wood cabinet. The dishwasher is a perfect fit into the cabinet on all sides. It is a very quitely operating dishwasher.

I guess I would need to see a picture of how they did yours and compare to how the factory did mine. I can't picture what you mean.

Smart move ordering, our 39MB has our first dishwasher and we would not be without one again. Amazingly quite, you don't even have to turn up the tv! Good Move!

My rig is in storage about two hours from here. Other posts are having a dishwasher installed so their photos should do the trick. If you are at the rally you are welcome to take a look at our installation.
