I am having some strange electrical sounds occur. It sounds as if an electrical motor is trying to start which is followed by several clicking sounds as if a breaker is trying to open. It occurs at random times both day and night. Has anyone had this happen?

Where is the sound coming from? Kitchen? Basement? bathroom? Ceiling?

I think it is in the basement on the door side. It does not last long enough for me to pinpoint and I cannot do anything to make it occur.

Maybe it's your door lock accidently being activated by the fob in your pocket? Just a shot in the dark!

Is your water pump on? I've forgotten to turn mine off when connected to city water and it will come on when I run water.... Just a guess

We have a RW34SK and have the same sounds. The service tech said it was probably the converter cycling. I can open a panel in the basement and see the converter and it appears that this is what is making the noise. Just a thought.....
