Extended Warranty info/experience?
Does anyone have any extended warranty experience they can share or a company you can recommend? I will be in the market for an extended warranty and I would love to get some feedback from the forum members, thanks!

No experience with RV extended warranty BUT bad experience(s) with auto extended warranty. I'm sure they both have the same game plan........ do everything in their power to deny a claim. My personal opinion ? Take the $ that you would spend on the extended warranty (actually insurance) & open up a rainy day worst case scenario savings account to go to if needed for repair(s).

The short answer is - it depends. I have a Ford extended warranty on my F350. The advantage to having that is that it is treated just like any factory warranty service other than my $100 deductible applies. Highly recommended if you're going to keep the truck.
For the coach I have Good Sam. Have used it once so far when a slide motor died and the Mobile Tech said it was one of the very few he would deal with . Was pretty painless .

We have Good Sam's but haven't had to use it, thank goodness, & I have an extended warranty on my truck, which paid for itself when they replaced my turbo recently.

We have Good Sams for about a year. We have not had any issues but like the local RW dealer told me, some of the components can be very expensive to repair (fridge, ac, etc.) . I am going to renew it for one more year but may take other peoples advice and just save the premium. Keep in mind I bought my RW used and wanted the security a warranty would provide. When I checked Good Sams was one of teh few that would do it on a yearly basis with monthly payments. Wholesale and others wanted multiple $1,000's up front for multi year policies. If I was under RW warranty I would not buy anything until it was up!

I never thought I would say it, but I'm getting the GS warranty this week - $300 deductable. I just don't want to deal with a leaking jack, fridge, or slide system fail.
GS of 5 years (I'm already 2-1/2 years old) and renewable for as long as I own it.

And don't forget the double pane windows. We have had four replaced under warranty because they lost the internal seals and fogged up. Those suckers ain't cheap

Good sam is actually silent on the windows - so I don't think they would be covered.
