After 6 years with full body paint people ask us if our Redwood is new! Worth the extra cost.

We have friends with a fairly new Montana with Decals and have black streaks from roof run off. The streaks can be removed for the painted area, but it seems it has soaked right into the decals and nothing seems to remove it there.

After having many fiberglass TT's and Fivers, and now having my first full body paint, I do not think I'll go back.

The Full body paint is that much easier to care for, that much better looking...

I would recommend "Full Body Paint" which I do not have but wish I did.

Fiberglass does fade and heard to keep clean, plus graphics do fade, then crack.

Good Luck with your decision between Paint or not. May even look into a lightly used coach w/ paint and maybe some aftermarket upgrades.

After 4 years ours looks like new still. I would not get another rig without Full body paint so much nicer and just a wax once to twice a year you are good to go.

Go for full body paint. We have a 2015 38RL and the ONLY thing we regret is that we did not go for full body paint. It fades fast when you are a full timer and almost impossible to get the original shine back.

We have spent at least $15,000 in upgrades like 8K axles, new hitch etc and to get her painted today is at least $20,000 but we might do that eventually.

To start with the extra paint was just $9,800 minus the standard 25% discount depending on dealer so just go for it.

When I was at the rally last summer I was of the understanding that the only option was full body paint but I can be wrong.

Full Body paint has been in and out of the option list. We included it as an option on our 2012 36RL, but when we were ordering our 2016 39MB the Full Body Paint was a "Mandatory Option", so for at least a year or two all RWs should have been full paint.

My wife and I are looking for a new Redwood but a little disappointed with the paint options Redwood offers on the new 2020's ... seems like only black & White or Black & blue ... no other colors? Do you know if we can request other paint schemes?

Cal the plant and ask for the Sales Representatives for your area. Most of them respond pretty quickly and would have the best knowledge.
