Congratulations TNT we also had smiles on our faces to hear the excitement you are experiencing. What a beautiful rig can't wait to hear of your first trip. Hope to run into you on the road sometimes when we start our adventure. Keep the post coming.

We bought our RL from B Young RV in April of 2013. Sales rep was a class act. We had the same red carpet, stand, and gift box, as well as good wishes signed by all members of the dealership, including the owner.

Super cool. Glad it went well for you guys. Our PDI was also inside but was too cramped for pictures. We're happy for you, and you've forgotten about the wait, right?

Great news, and congratulations!!! I'll be looking at my GK on Monday to see, among other things, where all the outlets aren't, and where they need to be. I definitely want one in the desk to charge iPhones, iPads and a laptop. And perhaps one in the "dining credenza" if there is not one in there already. Our pickup of the coach is scheduled for three weeks from today.

Thanks again everyone, sure appreciate the good wishes. Yes, there are actually a lot of handy outlets. Just would like one under the bathroom sink (easy) and in the closet (I checked, they aren't there).

I need to call my PDI specialist. We asked about the combo lock on the front door and she said there would be documentation. There isn't OOPS. So, hopefully that will be an easy email or something. Things are going pretty good so far... can't complain. Definitely getting a little punchlist going but nothing scary. Still can't get the tv off the wall in the bedroom so we can plug in dvd player, but we'll get there eventually.

If the TV has the same type of mount as in our 36RL, it is a "V" shaped solid bracket. The first time you try to remove the TV, it may be a little tight. Try grabbing the TV by a lower corner and the upper corner diagonally across the TV. Then rock the TV clockwise and counter clockwise while pushing upward. It will come loose while you are pushing up and when the two halves of the bracket clear each other, you can pull the TV out towards you.

Hope this helps.

Ditto,
If your mount is like ours there is a trick to it...
tilt in the top while lifting the top inside the cabinet top,
then go as high as you can,
then pull the bottom out to drop it...

I have a pic of the wall mount, the tv has an inverted V that slides down into the V on the wall.

Thanks again for the great help. Well, we got the TV out of there... BUT! We do have a very different bracket. Once we figured it out, it was easy (as most things are, right?) It is identical to the one for the outdoor TV. It has two horizontal bars that the bracket attaches to. So, mission accomplished. We are adapting to our new lifestyle, while still parked at our house and moving in to the Redwood. We will move to our park host location (only 2 miles away!) in a few days. That will be a big day too. It's a SMALL park and navigating into it will be a challenge and I will probably be 10 years older. Be glad when that's over. Thank goodness it tows so nice. The tracking was surprisingly good. Keep your fingers crossed for that!

Outlet by sink

TNT

Our 2014 38rl has an outlet by bathroom sink between shower and sink? Does yours?

Yes, we have an outlet on the outside of the cabinet, on the FRONT. It's not practical to plug chargers for our toothbrushes and electric razor. We are just going to try and install an outlet INSIDE the cabinet very near it so we can keep all of that behind the door. Lord knows there is little enough counter space, right?

Delivery Time

Hi there! Glad you are enjoying your new Redwood! We ordered ours almost 3 months ago and are still waiting for a delivery date. Our truck (exactly like yours, by the way) is in GA waiting for us, so we're hoping our 38RL will be ready soon. We ordered ours through Lazy Days and wondered where you purchased yours. Also, did you have to wait as long or longer than we have?

You are correct, never enough outlets. The one I mentioned by the sink is also the master gfi to your island and docking bay outlets.
