If in fact RW did do away with the shelving and netting in the basement that is a very dumb move. The cost of that has got to be minimal and it is a very good feature.

For me, losing the outside tv would not be a big loss.

The outside TV was replaced by electrical and cable hook ups in the basement, they said this gives the owners the option to purchase larger TV's than the 32" supplied now..
I actually prefer the basement location for my TV, that is where i mounted mine on my last SOB

The netting and shelving was also dropped, though I am not sure why ? And the same goes for the rear storage, not sure why that didn't make the cut??

I've got a large outside TV and have only used it 1 time. As for the other storage, I can't imagine going backwards and removing some. The front shelves were important to me and They got a lot of attention. I always thought the rear storage was a good idea too.

Removing two doors, associated hardware, warranty claims, labor probably adds up to a big savings.

Losing the rear compartment is bummer.

I just looked at the RW web site and the FL is no longer made as well, what a sorry site. We never had the selves or the webbing in the storage on the FL so it was never missed. Wonder what they will do next.

I like my rear storage compartment but it has leaked water every time it rains since day one, Redwood Techs at 2 Rally's have attempted to repair the leaks without success.

We had one of the original Redwood outside TVs that flipped down from the basement ceiling. To me that was the ideal spot to watch from the patio area, unlike the later location in the slide which seemed awkward. I'll admit it was a cool feature that I didn't use very much - daughter called it "background" because I never really watched it.

Rear cabinets seemed to be a nightmare getting the doors to work. All of the ones I saw had to be lifted to get the latch to work.

Some of the features that sold us on Redwood was the attention to detail in the basement - woodgrain ceiling, shelves with netting and rubber floor. That was one of my bragging points and it usually go a "ooh" and "aah" from whomever I showed. Too bad that went away.

The new RW-3401RL should be hitting dealers lots as early as November. If you need any assistance, please contact us and ask for your regional sales manager to locate the closest dealer.

We are working on a floorplan for a new model that is under 35' but it has not been finalized.

Rob, that's good news. What I'd like to see is a 31SL with a side TV. I like the layout of the Grand Design Solitude 310GK-R, but they're hitch heavy and don't have ducted A/C returns...so I'm concerned about A/C noise. They also don't offer a disk brake option. I'm anxious to see what you all have in mind.

Looks like the early 2017 with the new paint. It still has the outside TV and rear storage 16500 gvw, G tires

Yep, but it has the outside speakers, LED Lights over the doors and such, looks like the one we saw at the Rally / Plant Tour
