Outside TV Size

Could someone let me know what size tv fits in the exterior compartment opposite the dining table cabinet? We need to replace our S&B bedroom set, and will use it our future 38GK.

Sorry,
but I wouldn't bet too much money on it being the same on a different model, heck, I'm not sure I'd assume the same tv is in the same model redwood !

I believe our setup is different from most 38gk's
we have a 55" in the living room and a 26 in the bedroom ...

I might have misunderstood what was asked in the OP. I was referring to the outdoor TV size. My living room is supposed to be 42", and the bedroom 39". My outdoor TV is supposed to be 32". Although, I haven't actually measured any of them. Of course, my unit is a 36rl, and might be completely different than your unit.

TV

My 38re came with a 55" in the LR, 39 in the BR and the outside tv comes with a 32". My RW did not come with the outside tv so we bought one. I measured the opening and I could have put a 36" in but could not find one, they go from 32" to 39" from our search.

Apparently, on the new models the outside TV is a mandatory option.

Unfortunately I think you're right. To me it's just another air leak.

Yea, I was feeling some cold air coming from that area, under the buffet. I put a thick blanket in the outside compartment, and stuffed a blanket in the hole under the buffet. It isn't very noticeable now.

Just measured my TVs. 42" in the LR, 39" in the BR, and 32" outside.

Yeah we cut foam up to be slightly larger than the 2 holes coming in from outside TV. After that glued a piece of lexan over that to enhance the audio from the TV. Fixed problem for cold drafts no more mosquitos and audio from TV increased 40 percent

We want to put a TV in the compartment that was called the Tool Box by our salesman when we bought our 36RL. Does anyone have plans for doing this or should we have the dealer install the mount and electricity? Thanks for your help as always!

Another oxymoron that only exists in the RV industry...

The auto companies have been doing this for years. Remember when you could order power locks without the power windows? Or the intermittent wipers without cruise control.

I guess it's less costly to group options so production is more streamlined and simpler. I sure wish the Redwood had spent their time and resources on improving the suspension or overall QC instead of putting a TV on the outside.
