Question About Ordering New RW

There are no RW dealers in Western WA! Bought mine on way home from the desert last year at Dennis Dillon RV in Boise and got a screaming good deal. There is a Redwood dealer in Spokane which is 350 miles from me in Anacortes, WA. And another dealer in the Portland, OR area.

In Maryland you pay tax on the bottom line of the Bill of Sale. This would be the negotiated price. If there is a trade - in, it is deducted before sales tax and you pay tax on the difference. PA is same way.. About the only thing in MD that is done fairly. Here, they've even figured out a way to tax Rain Water runoff .........

While we were in Michigan for several days, our 38GK came in on Thursday the 10th. Eleven weeks, 4 days from order. Going to do the PDI next Tuesday. Yahoo!

Got the call from Lazydays today. Our coach has arrived and they are now going to check it out and get back to me when we can pick it up. It was 12 weeks and 4 days from order.

Only snafu now is I still don't have the truck. At least Ford has assigned it a VIN # and the Ford regional manager got it assigned a priority 1 build status, so it is getting closer to being a reality.

Thanks for the updates! We are so envious! We are only on week 6. By the looks of things, its going to be another 5 or 6 weeks for us. Still havent heard one word from anyone since giving them a deposit. Im kind of expecting a VIN in the next couple of weeks. Then I can get my insurance all arranged. Have fun with your pdi's! Hope they go smoothly!

Ksaltman, where a bouts are you looking to get that new RW to?? We're about an hour and half South of Lazy Days for another 10 days or so. Could possibly help move it if you wanted until you get your TV.

Thanks that is a very kind offer. Ultimately I need to pull it back to Nashville but my wife and I wanted to spend some time in and around Tampa to break it in and stay close to the dealer should anything come up.

I think if push comes to shove we will fly down, have Lazydays move it for us into their campground and we will stay there.

Ken, in a couple of weeks we'll be headed your way, but we'll have our RW in tow. We'll leave the Tampa area headed for the Dayton/Springfield, Ohio area for a week, then on up to Elkhart, IN to meet up with friends and start Cross Country.
At least at the Lazy Days campground, you can get a free breakfast and lunch out of them. We spent about 4 days in their delivery lot moving everything from our Montana to the RW, then spent a couple more days in their campground before heading North.

Wow ours is already on the lot, they have our Big Sky (2012 trade in) and on the 6th or &th we will do our PDI. We did a walk thru and foun no problems sitting on the lot but nothing hooked up or turned on. Just had C45 replaced and C3-C6 fused so the Doctor will not let me do anything at the present or for the next 6 weeks . But we will have them pull her home and back her in the covered space we have and the wife will have the fun of moving everthing into her while I watch !!! how nice to be lazy.
Yes she is excited and does not mind the time as she will set it up HER WAY, except for the basement and that will just wait!! It is a 2014 38GK loaded except the dishwasher and sat. system, Carryout is a lots less expensive as I have it already. Nothing wrong with the Big Sky 36re except the floor plan, and we want to travel this great place called America. She is from the Philippines and everthing is still new to her afte 9 years being here.

How exciting! How long from order date to delivery, do you know? I know that about 3 or 4 months ago, they told us that orders were taking longer because of all the bad weather backing things up and that even the plant couldn't operate on some days.
We are so happy for you! Take pictures and share! Enjoy that beautiful GK! We ALMOST got that one!

We ordered our 2015 38RL Feb 4th and will pick it up now on Monday.

So about 10 weeks. We ordered everything except full body paint.
