Redwood 2+5 year warranty
Just bought a new Redwood a few days ago. so far so good, just got a question about the warranty. Did any of you get a copy of the warranty at closing. My dealer pushed other warranty info, but never say anything about the Redwood 2+5 warranty. All we got is the sticker by the door. I just started reading the owners manual.....I got a lot of work to get done with in 30 days.....dealer never said a thing about that either. Just a little worried we made a big mistake. I've been reading a lot of stuff on here, some good. some bad, has me a little on the fence.
Thanks for any help.

Well........it's like this...Redwood changed their warranty from what I understand. You might want to call the dealer and double check to be sure you have all the facts.
Oh ...by the way... welcome to the forum and Merry Christmas

Thanks, the dealer is closed till 1/5/15, that give me less time to get an inspection done per the owners manual.
Time will tell.....Happy Holidays to you and yours as well

Congratulations on that new Redwood!
If it says 2+5 by the door, it must be an inventory unit and I would sure think it gets the full 2+5 the rest of us got, but you should probably find out for sure from the Dealer as said above. I understand the new ones are only 2.

First of all, congratulations on your new Redwood, I hope you will enjoy it as much as we have ours!!
As I understand Redwood changed the warranty effective with the 2015 model year to a full Bumper-to-bumper TWO year warranty. All coaches up to the end of the 2014 model still carry the 2+5 warranty.
Having said that, the only real way I know for you to find out what warranty your specific coach has is to call the Crossroads Service Center, give them your VIN and have them tell you. If you don't have the number, call (888) 226-7496

Our new 2105 GK arrived but is still at the dealers. We asked about the warranty and the dealer did not know. They contacted Patrick at Redwood and confirmed the the warranty is 2 years with no annual inspection, I knew to ask thanks to this forum... Ian

So what I know is this::
2014 and prior had a 2+5 warranty which is a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty and if you have an annual inspection, extends that warranty for 3 more years to "only the frame". You have to pay for the annual inspection ranging from $150 to $500 depending on which "factory authorized dealer" you choose.
In the 2015 models, they no longer offer the additional 3 years, but still have the 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. So, if you have a 15, no need for the annual inspection.
Also, none of these warranties is transferrable to the next owner.

Thanks for the help, and yes it is a RW40KB13, 2013 new, never used or titled, found it at a dealer in the back forty, it has cleaned up very nice, it does have some badly faded paint on the end cap, slide out trouble and something is wrong with the forced hot air. Other than that so far so good, feels much more like a home than our Sunnybrook and 9 ft. longer......Happy Holidays

You'll be alright with the 2013. It will have the 2+5 warranty and should start with the purchase date.

In fact it should take care of that faded cap!
I wish Redwood-RV website would show the legacy floorplans for prior years like KeystoneRV. I was curious what a 40KB is.
