A few items were in need of attention however they were minor. We have camped in temperatures down to near zero degrees and as hot as 115 degrees without issues. The heating and air conditioning systems worked properly and did a great job.

In the long run I believe you will be happy with your Redwood. I have shared experiences with owners of large RV's. Many swear they would not purchase their brand again. RV's are complex and being built by humans could have assembly line problems however a good shake out at the dealer and some local RV trips to check out all the systems should catch any issues prior to debarking on a long trip.

I trust all is working out and you are enjoying your RV'ing.

Well said!

Sure sounds a like a few others who have blown through here spewing hate and discontent.

Maybe they are just busy trying to get their rv in shape or out of the shop ?

Not everyone lives on forums like we do

Sorry you had so much trouble with your Rig. Guess we should count our blessings that our rig has been great and we have no horror stories to report.
Redwood should be able to tell you what RV dealer or mobile RV service is near you that they will allow to do warranty work on your rig.
Wish we weren't trying to sell ours as we must have got a gem. Because of medical reasons we need to sell at discount price.
Good Luck, hope you get some help to get the rest of the issues fixed.
Safe travels to you and yours.

We have been rving for a long time and I have even sold them for a living. I was not very good at it because I told customers the truth - there is no such thing as a perfect issue free rv. The difference is how the dealer and manufacturer take care of the customer. Redwood has worked with us on every issue we have had - even including taking the coach back to the factory service center at Topeka, IN. That is why we are considering buying another 36RE with upgrades. The dealer we bought from is terrible, but Redwood stands far above and out weighs the negative.

I had 4-5 Redwood owners visit me in Quartzsite yesterday and all but 1 were very satisfied. I have had only 1 dealer experience and it was bad. There is no way I would ever buy anything from Dean's RV in Tulsa. Wish we had a list of dealers that provide real customer service.

1 in 5 is probably the same odds of running across that 1 guy that just likes to bitch about everything.

Yep, that's consistent with the odds of somebody disliking people/things for no reason. Generally 20% will like you or something, 20% won't and the other 60% need work.

At 1 in 5 that meets the 20% rule.

We however are in the 80% that really like our Redwood.

You 80 per centers should count your lucky stars. A purchase of a high end/expensive product that goes south would bring Superman to his knees.

I am VERY satisfied with our Redwood I can not say enough about the service guys Leonard especially. We have had problem with redwood installed components but have not had any issues with the redwood build. We encountered a problem on our way down here, went to Lazy days of Tucson got the run around so Leonard has sent the replacement part directly to us and if we have any problem with the replacement install he will pay for whatever is required thats what I call support. The main reason other than we fell in love with them, that I purchased a Redwood was the support, all I ever hear is horror stories from other manufacturers. I would buy another one in a heartbeat but I expect this will last all we will need
