Still wondering how you keep the refrigerator cool while traveling with the propane off? Been fulltime for over 8 years, back & forth across the country & have NEVER turned the propane off, nothing burnt up yet.

Guy I ran mine without a problem. Every now and then I'd see a puff of smoke in my mirror when it started up. I did go through a lot of LP on that trip and on the other winter trips I found it better to just run the generator. Bit for those without generators, you can operate the furnace while driving.

On my other SOB,s I always ran with the propane on to keep the fridge cold. Now I run with the LP gen on to keep the trailer cool
