What did I do yesterday and today—
Well, it’s that time of the year when I REALLY HAVE THE ITCH BAD. ( CAMPING ) we had 2 good days back to back with both weather, and wife so I jumped into it.
1- replaced the Lippert 4 steps with the MORryde Step Above..
2- pulled all wheels, repacked bearings and seals on the RW
3 replaced all of the caliper slide bolts, rubber boots, and sleeves on the RW
4 -washed the wheels only.... ran out of time
5- installed a new SuperGlide 4400 20k sliding hitch..old one was 14 years old, still working, but getting older.
6- took the factory running boards off the Ford and replaced them with Amp Research electric... NICE ! !

We have the itch to Joe!
Opened it up and got all the pink stuff out.
Fixed the rear blind that decided to fall on the floor on our last trip.
Packed the bearings and new seals.
Replaced all breaks with the Dexter kit once I noticed 2 shoes were almost gone . (no disks yet)
Will get all shined up tomorrow.
We head out for our adventures on 4/14.
AND......YES they are calling for 2 more inches of snow here on Tuesday. Can't say I ever remember getting snow this late but we still have 5' mounds in parking lots slowly melting away.

Retired on Friday, and hit the road on Saturday for our first real road trip...6 weeks to Key West. This morning we're sitting in a sweet little state park in Beaumont Tx. It's 62 degrees outside, the windows are open, the fireplace is running, coffee in hand, and Fats Domino is on the radio. Next stop, New Orleans to see our daughter, then on to Fort Wilderness and Key West. Let the adventures begin....

Joe & Steve,
Mine could use a little TLC before summer travels if you need more to do. No coats necessary, just bring shorts, I've been wearing them for about 6 weeks, 90+ degrees yesterday in central Arizona.
Danny & Terri, congratulations & hope you enjoy fulltiming as much as we have!

I'm on my way just have the beer cold!!!!! Well... Maybe not, the wife might not like that!
Arms are a bit sore today as I just finished the full cleaning and wax. RW is ready for the road. Serviced the truck and it is ready to pull.

Spent the day removing rear basement walls to find the Water Heater leak, small pin hole developed at a weld, also dropped part of the underbelly to drain the water out.
Five days out of the Suburban 3 year tank warranty, but they said they would cover replacement tank, we just have to pay the Mobile Service for the labor.
