It is. Little more room can't hurt. A half bath would be nice.

Yes I would buy another Redwood without any reservation. Have very minimal problems. Like others has stated on this thread, I have heard of no one with frame problems. Perfect-no but a very nice coach.

I would have liked to have got a 42', but I thought it would be too much for most campgrounds, and hard to handle.

It would put us out of quite a few parks, that is true. Where I keep it would be a problem as well. It is a dream though.

I have been an owner for about 6 weeks. Yes I would buy again. Not a problem with the 38gk that needs dealership attention. We are very pleased with the Rv. Maybe 6 weeks is a little too soon to comment. The new bed mattress ( ICOOL) sleeps great.

I wish they would make the 38MB in a 40 MB so there would be a real pantry. I just can't go with the half pantry in the current model. Otherwise we'd be looking at that in the future.

My next unit will be larger but I don't think it's going to be a problem. Over the past year, I've watched the different parks we've stayed at and I have seen vey few that a 43 ft rv wouldn't fit in. There were some that had stated nothing over 35ft but the place as full of diesel pushers all well over 40 ft.

It all depends on the driver and his or her abilities.

We would buy again without a second thought! We bought from Lazy Days in AZ and have had service done in Lazy Days FL. Both are great and do excellent work. The best of the best is customer service with Redwood! Not much in the way of problems with ours, just the normal adjustments!

We would buy again as well. We have had minor issues that have been rectified by our dealer in just a few days. Redwood is currently repainted the front and back cap on our unit due to serious fading of the gelcoat. Hope to get it back in the next week or so and do our winterizing.

Thanks, everyone for your responses to my query! I'm definitely going to add Redwood to my prospective rigs when I'm ready to buy.

Please don't sow the new RW seed with DW when we update the truck.

We have had some very good RVs in the past from some great manufacturer's, Sunline TT, 1996 Sunnybrook TT, 2005 Jayco Eagle 5er & 2011 Jayco Pinnacle 5er and now our Redwood 5th Wheel. (Fulltiming in the Pinnacle and Redwood)

Only had our Redwood 5th Wheel for 2 months, so far so good, time will tell if this is another great one.

Hahahaha! I'm telling you Andy - the pressure will be on to get the model year numbers to match between the truck and trailer once you get that new truck .

No we aren't looking to replace ours (I just got it where I want it). But if I were today, it would be the 38RL.

I believe Carol and I will do more research before we purchase our next one. Probably look at DRV more closely. We had to wait over 70 days to get warranty work done. All the dealers were busy. I feel that if you purchase a high dollar RV you should get better service.

Funny... my dealer sells both DRV and Redwood!!

Luckily I don't really have a problem with my dealer but there are plenty on the forum who do.

I really question getting better service simply based on cost, not in the towable market anyway!

I agree. I don't think throwing more money at the coach would change the bad experience you had with the Dealer John. My Texas Dealer also sold DRV, and I don't think the DRVs would get "preferential" treatment.

If it was a service delay because of Redwood, maybe a different story. I'm getting along well with your Dealer, I don't take anything in there, I just get parts

I'm doing the exchange through BG, but if I need anything, I'm going to an actual RW dealer.

The more complex the RV gets the more issue you're going to have no matter how much you spend. These RVs are rolling earthquakes, bouncing down the road with virtually every part and appliance shifting and moving.

There are things I would change if my name was Redwood but it's not, so I deal with issues knowing I'm dealing with the same stuff as the 500k motor home without the payment. If this bothered me a lot....I'd buy a 2 condos. One in the mountains and the other on a beach......wait......there's maintenance and taxes on those.
