We are buying a 2012 Redwood RE from Toscano RV Center in Los Banos, CA. We were originally in the market for a Cameo 36FSW but after looking at the Redwood and with the closing of the Carriage factory last week, we decided to buy the Redwood. We are moving up from a Sierra T24SKSPl toyhauler. We move everything out of our toy hauler last night into the new Redwood and today we are getting our slider hitch and airbags installed on the truck. Toscano RV is great as they have a place on their lot for you to set up your old and new RV side by side with full hook ups. That way you can move things over and spend the night to find any bugs in the new RV before departing for home.

Congratulations to you on purchasing your new 36RE. We will take delivery on our 36RE in February. We are anxious to hear what your experience has been with your new unit. What kind of air bags did you go with?

I had the dealer install Firestone airbags with the compressor and psi guage. It works really well. I also had them install the hitch as part of my purchase deal. I got a Reese PRO slider, 20K. The couple of time I have had my unit out I didn't need to engage the slider because the way the front of the unit curves. My truck is a Ford F250 shortbed.
