I realize that we live in a big country but why don't we start planning geographical get togethers so we can meet. This could also be usfull for those still waiting for their trailers to be built because they could make changes to their orders before it's too late. I'm ordering things on my trailer that might be a mistake, why let someone else learn the hard way?

Sort of a combination of a suport group and friendly get togethers. Who would be willing to meet others and help potenial buyers or future owners?

Most ar;;ies are more of a national thing. I'm thinking of a reginal first but I can be open minded. I just think if the company doesn't plan something we should.

We're in depending on where and when. Our home base is Denver, Co. For the time being we plan our trips around my bride's work schedule as she still works full time. I am retired and plan interim trips to trout fishing destinations. We pretty much have our summer and fall trips planned out however if a Redwood group was going to meet fairly close to Denver we would love to get together, pop a cork on a favorite beverage and meet some new friends.

Safe travels and happy trails

How close to Denver and what time of the year works for you and everyone else?

Well like I had said earlier....we can plan regional get togethers. Denver for me is only 14 hours away and I was out there 4 times last year. By the way if you want to fly fish look on the map for Saratoga Wy. I grew up going out there camping and fishing on the North Platt River. And there's beautiful primitive camping up on "Snow Range Pass"

I fish the North Platte near Saratoga every year. I grew up in Sinclair Wyomingj which is only 40 miles from Saratoga and 6 miles from the Platte. I sunk my drift boat just below Saratoga last summer. That was exciting!, I am willing tc help with trip planning if someone would take the point. Dave, how would you feel about being point man?For us any place within a days drive from Denver is doable over a 3 day weekend.

It can be a group effort...I think these Redwoods are spectacular enough to have a really big following. I realize other companies have "rallies" but as "j1251b" said he's had very few problems in a year and the small ones he did have were fixed quickly.

I hate to say it but I don't know of many other RV companies can say that. A year ago I was looking at the Heartland "Rushmore" and after reading posts changed my mind.

I took my wife out there last summer and someone had their boat wedged under the bridge, was that You?

No we were further downstream wedged under some downed cottonwood trees. We did get the boat out in one piece after a 2 day struggle and rescued most of our gear.

Nice thought and would be interested. We are planning to order our unit in April and comments on this site have been helpful.

Thanx everyone. We are located in the East Bay area of San Francisco.

Welcome Maggie! Good luck with your new trailer. Let us know when you get it maybe we'll meet around the campfire some day. By the way the new person has to bring the drinks

When are you going to get your new rig? I'm expecting mine at the end of March. It's a 34SK.

GREAT news Maggie! Now Bob is the newest so he has to bring the drinks.

Bob, there's a lot of us waiting for our trailers on this forum. In fact instead of calling this a Redwood forum it should be called the wannabe forum. I have a Black/Red 36RL being built and I should get it around the first week of April
