Inspection list

I have a 36 RL on order and wanted to know if anyone has comprised a checklist of things to look for upon acceptance.

Those lists are awesome, but they are EXTENSIVE! We just checked main systems and things that would cause us to not be able to live comfortably in it. Cosmetic or small things didn't matter so much, for example: Our closet doors were not straight and didn't latch properly in the middle. We have since fixed the problem ourselves, and chose to NOT add that to a punch list later because it would add time to our service appointment that we would rather not add since we are full time. The silicone seal at the bottom of the shower door was ripped almost completely off, again, 5 minute fix next trip to Home Depot. You get the idea. Hopefully we will keep our fix-list short so our RW won't be in the shop too long for it's first visit! Personal preference for sure! STILL there are things that we will NOT fix and will be on the list. I have heard horror stories about coaches being in service for weeks... I sure hope that's not true! We can't do that. I will certainly share what happens here for us when that time comes!

It is a long drive for you, but our Dealer in Abbotsford had a sat system supplied and installed, and a few other items in about 1 week. Only the job requiring RW parts took longer.

We appreciate the info! We don't have the luxury of a Redwood dealership where we live so we are trying to check what we can before we take it home. Hopefully there won't be too many issues where we can enjoy it for a bit before goofy things happen. We do have a Crossroads dealership locally so I trust they will be able to perform the required annual inspections.

There are two Redwood forums, the link goes to the other forum. Do you have logins on both? Assuming you do, you might have to login to that forum to access the post with the list.
If you don't already have a login you will need to go through the application process, not difficult.

If you continue to have problems let me know by PM and I'll send you the list.
