My wife and I just bought a 2012 Redwood 31SL today from Stoltfus RV West Chester, PA. We pick it up next Saturday. We will let you know how we like it when we get to use it for the first time. So far, wondering how you reach the TV antenna control. It is above the second step to the bedroom. We are 5'6" and need a stool. Any thoughts on this? Happy to be a part of the Redwood family.

Welcome to the group but unfortunately I'm not familiar with the 31sl. Post some pictures when you get it.

2bucks, we have a 36rl and I am 6'4". The antenna is in the hall and easy for me but the smoke alarm is out over the steps and a stretch. Plus those spacious cabinets over the rear couch and entry closet…come on folks fess up you have to use a stepper to get into those. The stepper is good for those cabinets and you know whats in back or bottom of them.Enjoy your rig as we have.

Yepper, we store our step stool in the cubby above the Fridge, but not sure you have that space in your unit. Can't have one of these things without a step stool, ours is carried over from our Montana.

Welcome 2Bucks! Yep think we'll all agree your going to need a stepping stool. We pick ours up at HD. it's a folding 4 stepper!fits nicely underneath in our storage area on a 36FL.

Thanks for all the advice on the step stool. We will be packing one of those. When we get the new rig to our house, pictures will be posted.
