location of VIN Numbers on 36RL

I am transferring registration on our 2015 36RL from AZ to OR and They want me to bring the trailer to the DMV for a VIN inspection and I am wondering where on the trailer it is located anybody know?

If I remember correctly, it is located on the tag/sticker that is attached to the fifth wheel on the driver side.

That is just your weight tags and labels. Actual VIN is stamped in the steel part, off door side ( street side ) of frame part that mounts your pin box. Should be below the bolts holding pin box to your rig.

Problem with the stickers are that they are not permanent. Say a wall change or skirt metal change was performed on an RV, label would be destroyed. Has to be a permanent stamping or engraving on frame. Since pin boxes can be interchanged they stamp the frame by the pin box. The rv manufacturers do have the weight tag records in their system in order to reprint them if needed.

Ditto about the stickers. I have removed all of them from our 36RL because nothing on it other than the VIN was correct since we changed the suspension and tires.

The sticker works just fine for vin verification. That's was all I needed for Colorado after buying in Texas.
