I have heard an overwhelming number of folks that are stepping into Redwoods that had a Montana prior. Is it just my imagination?

What rig did you all leave behind, and what were your reasons for not going back to that brand?

I had 2007 Montana 3400RL that we sold while our Redwood was being built. Never had too many complaints about it. It was good to us. We went to Redwood because it offered options that Montana didn't have, such as ice maker, disk brakes, and dishwasher. We also liked the paint much better than Big Sky options.

We were looking at Montanas and another brand or two. had pretty much made our mind up on a 3400RL Montana ~ and then ........... we walked into a Redwood and the game was over. Our 36RL is our first RV ever. Had planned and thought about it for many years. So far, very happy with our choice and also Rv'ing. I've had boats for many, many years and the systems are very similiar, I just don't have to be concerned with bottom depth and taking on water. Now just have to worry about low bridges and tree limbs !!

We had a 07 Grand Junction, and it worked...until we saw the RW. For DW it was the larger refer. For me it was the jacks. The rest was the general layout.

We are very happy and comfortable!!

Prior to purchasing our Redwood, we had two Montana's. A 2006 and a 2008. Both were good coaches and we had no major problems with either of them. They are a great coach for the cost. We went to the Redwood as an upgrade as others have posted.

I had three Montana RV's prior to my Redwood. I went with the Redwood because of all the upgrades and features that were not offered on the Big Sky.
