bull_chips, congratulations on your new Carriage, it is a beautiful coach, looks very similar to the Redwood.

The Redwood's water filter is located behind the rear wall of the basement, right behind the convenience center, there is a small door in the wall, the filter is accessible behind the door. As to the inverter, I don't have a residential fridge but from what I've read there should be a separate battery just fort the inverter, I believe it would be collocated with the inverter [someone who has one should be able to confirm].

Still curious as to which company is building and selling the Carriage, originally planned to be a Redwood product, built in the Redwood plant when Tom Montague was here, then told at the Rally that it would be a Crossroads product.

Is it a Redwood, a Crossroads or something entirely different...and where is it being manufactured?

Exactly, where did you see the Carriage on the Rushmore Web site?

I will not be able to be up close and personal with a Carriage until the Tampa show in January.

I think one problem, is the absolute lack of information for this particular unit. I don't believe it has anything to do with Rushmore. According to the press releases, the name was bought by Redwood and most of the literature I have, still has Redwoods name on it. Even some of the materials were marked with Redwood labels.

So, who knows? It is certainly made by Crossroads, if that bothers people, I don't know.

I believe when we did the factory tour at the Rally, Jim advised the Carriage brand would be the new top of the line Crossroads, above Rushmore.

Seem to recall seeing a completed one outside when we did the tour.

Yeah, that's what the factory rep told me at the RV show. It was going to be their top-of-the-line unit. Not really part of another family.

Thats what I remember too, guess they're building them @ the Crossroads assembly plant.

Guess I'll look through one @ the Tampa show in January if they have one there.

The Rushmore is built in the same factory as the RW. It wasn't that way on my unit, I don't think, but the new ones supposedly are built right alongside the RWs.

Yep, I stand to be corrected. Not the rushmore site but crossroads.

The Rushmore was built at the RW factory, but the last ones were on the line when we did the Rally factory tour. They have since been moved back to a Crossroads factory.

The Rushmores are not built in the Redwood plant. At the Rally there was a Carriage that I believe came off the Redwood line. I looked inside of it and it looked very similar to the Redwood RL on the inside.

I guess Crossroad's Drinkwine told us wrong then. They told us the 15 Rushmore had been moved to the RW site, when they tried to get us to accept a new RM.

I believe the Rushmores were being built at the Redwood Plant. The tag on the Rushmores said "Built by Redwood". I don't think they are being built there anymore, I heard they were moving them to the Crossroads Plant. I sure wish Redwood and Crossroads would figure out what aand where they will build their products.

Thought they told us in August they were moving the Rushmore production to the CrossRoads plant?

Chuck - I concur, Jim mentioned that the last Rushmores were on the line when we were at the plant and they were moving to a CR plant, but can't remember the one he mentioned.
