The Disc Brakes are a Factory Option, or they can be added After Market, or if you're real handy and have a place to work, they can be a DYI with several places selling complete upgrade kits.

Affirmative, they are a factory option at time of ordering. When visiting the service centre I will be asking for a price to convert to disk brakes, if they will do it.

Thanks for the info.

The dealership is going to install a Reese hitch and a brake controller "if the truck doesn't have one". I'm not sure what that means. Does this have something to do with the actuators on the truck?

I think they mean if your Ford didn't have the integrated brake controller, they would have to add one.

That is MSRP for the factory option. That price is discounted at the same percentage as you negotiated on the rig.

I've heard 3K to get it installed after the fact if you have it done somewhere.

I sell the Titan Brake Rite Actuator, Dac coated Caliper w/integral Hub/Rotor, Bearings, Seals and Tandem Hydraulic line kit for 7k Redwood axle for $1500.00. Most of my installers are $60-$80 per hr. It is an 8-10 hr job.

Disc brakes are a factory option but if you need to add them later Mor Ryde quoted me $3,000 to install them.
