New owner

Hello all,

As of just a few months ago, I have officially joined the elite group of redwood owners. I purchased a 2016 CY36CRL. I am lucky and truly blessed to have the ability of purchasing my dream rv at the age of 25. I look forward to plenty of fun times in the redwood and getting to know everyone of the forums.

Welcome to the family!!! That's a beautiful rig.
Please consider coming to the National Rally - August in Indiana.... we would love to meet you in person. Plus, we're having 6 regional rallies located throughout the United States. Hopefully, you can attend one or more of those. See the thread 'CRV and Redwood RV Regional Rallies 2016'.

Congratulations, looks great. I waited until my 50's before I jumped in last year. You may be the youngest person on this forum.

Congratulations on your new Cypress. Your set up looks really good. Welcome to the forum. There is lots of help here. Since most of us are a little older, don't be afraid to ask questions here. This forum is about helping and support not attitude like others. All of us have asked what we feel is probably a dumb question, and have been answered with respect of others.. Once again welcome to our family.

Congratulations on that Cypress. That is a very similar finish as our 2012 Redwood 36RL. At 25 I couldn't even afford a tent. Hope you enjoy many years with your Cypress. Happy trails.

Congratulations on your Cypress purchase and welcome to the forum. As owners we openly share about our RV experiences, and try to help one another with specific information on how to get the most enjoyment from our rigs. Feel free to ask questions. Happy trails! Bob

Welcome to the group and congratulations on following your dreams! I hope your new castle brings you the mile and miles of happiness that many of us have been fortunate enough to experience.

Personally I enjoy seeing young people (and families) getting involved with camping.

Congrats on the new adventures! My granddad converted an old Metro bread truck into a rv when I was about 5 years old & been camping ever since. Got our 1st rv when I was about your age & have had some sort of rv ever since.

Congrats!! Camping can be a lifetime sport, meaning that if enjoyed as a child it will probably be enjoyed as an adult and all years in between. I remember our family weekend outings and the fun our family had around campfires and swimming holes. My wife and I met at a campground and we've brought our kids up camp and now my son is bringing his kids up on camping. The benefit of being retired is that it can become a fulltime adventure!!! Enjoy!!

Actually he is shortening the curve on building "A Tiny House"

I tried to talk my daughter into it since she likes to move every couple of years

Congrats on that great looking trailer... And to think , at 25 my camper was a 19' 1984 Corsair ...
But things were different way back then, shoot , if we wanted to reach out to someone , we had a strange Rounded , tangled cord that came out of the wall and it was attached to a big hand set with a large round thing in the middle..

GOOD LUCK , AND HAPPY CAMPING
Joe
