We completed our pdi this afternoon and were very pleased. A nick on the entrance door. Some cosmetic issues on the woodwork(ie nail holes not filled) . headboard not fastened to wall correctly screen door not closing correctly, closet door not aligned correctly, and the a/c housing hitting the cooling fan blade. It has the residential package and has 3 12 volt batteries. Are two 6 volt batteries better than 2 12 volt batteries? Its ours now and tomorrow we move it side by side with the old coach to transfer all the stuff. The awning still has not arrived with duraguard on it that is suppose to be done Thursday or Friday.

Well we moved in yesterday. It took about 6 hours to transfer everything from Terra to the Redwood. Got a few small things to have fixed but nothing major. Donna and I had a couple friends help us transfer our worldly goods over and semi into place. The bed is way too soft but is may be the supports underneath the mattress. Then this morning, I poured a cup of coffee in my lap and onto the chair. Christened! But all in all the first night was restful.

New Owner Also
I bought a new 2014 Redwood 38FL in November in Ohio. So far have pulled it about 6000 miles. I'm still learning all the systems and how they work. Now in Texas where the weather has been really bad. 5th Wheel does fine unless I don't use the gas furnace and the water starts to freeze up. With the gas furnace running...no problems.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Where in TexUS are you ? NOT that we can get out with all the ice... but
Can't imagine towing in the dfw area the last week with all the ice !!!
SUPPOSED to get to 40 today so maybe we will get some relief ...
I'll take snow and cold and almost anything else other than the freezing rain.... it seeps into everything and then solidifies !
Was going out the back door under the porch so I could go around and chip the ice away that was piled up against our north facing garage doors and after slip sliding around to the wrote iron gate, couldn't get the gate open because the latch was solid ice around and in between !!!!

Bitterly cold up here also, about 17 at night and warming to mid 20's for the last few days. Fortunately it was dry so no ice, until this morning. Woke up to a light dusting of snow - our first in about 3 years.
Counting the days till we head South. Hoping California is sunny & warm.

Glad the unit arrived! Sorry about the delays in parts.
Yes, two 6 volt are better than two 12 volt, but with your 3 battery setup you would have two 6 volt and one 12 volt and that would not be balanced well. Four 6 volt would be even better.
