Well I'm feeling like a fool we deleted the Gen prep deleted the rear entry door added the chair slide window having them pre wire for fantastic fans because they will not install them, no full body paint no disc brakes no heat pumps no dish washer no G rated tires we did add the ice maker. We are paying 68.5k! I will be calling the dealer in the morning!

Not so fast...you made changes from the original design of your trailer and I'm not sure of that cost but I'm sure this would play into the pricesomewhere. Also, I believe the dealers make big bucks on all the upgrades like the full body paint, disk brakes and things like that, so if you didn't ask for them then you wouldn't have realized the big discounts.

When I bought my trailer I had 2 different dealers offering very close to the same deal and another in Texas that wanted my business as well but I couldn't find a good reason to spend the extra diesel costs to drive the extra 600 miles.

I wish you well and I hope you end up getting the deal that you want but it might be too late without loosing your deposit. If you're not worried about loosing your deposit, I'd tell the dealer my feelings and start looking all around at dealers with-in the area you'd be willing to travel.

Good luck! I hope someday we can meet around a camp fire

We also have been shopping . found as much as a $20,000 difference between dealers for the exact same floor plan and options. some of the excuses for the difference is hilarious.

I found that the quoted prices were right at 36% below MSRP. Others have said that they purchased at 40% below MSRP. So, I would suggest to you not to be too discouraged by advertised prices. We placed our order through Tiara RV Sales on the north side of Elkhart, Indiana and took delivery in October.

Our 36RLcoach has the options of generator prep, two A/C's, Kodiak Hydraulic Disk Brakes, Goodyear G614's, 4 door refrig. (no ice maker), Trail-Air Tri-glide pin box, slide toppers and water filter. We also added an automatic satellite dish. Our delivered price was $71.5K. The MSRP would have been around $112K at the time. I can tell you we are very satisfied with our coach so far.

We had been looking at semi-custom units for 4 years prior to last year and those definitely finally got beyound our budget. And I have been told by folks in that market that prices are going to coninue to go up.

Good luck in your decisions.

I think I'll hire you to buy trailers for me! You got a better deal than I did

It all comes down to a numbers game, especially if you have a trade. Our deal is being worked on the MSRP so by their numbers they're giving us about 50% more than we paid for our Montana. If they worked on a 60% of MSRP our trade would be valued that much less.
It all comes down to the difference between thenew rigand the trade allowance. We're pleased with the deal we worked out, so that's all that matters to us. Now we just can't wait till it gets here, then the chore of moving everything from one unit to the other, then learning all over again where we put things.
