Lightbulb Newbie to the Forum

Hi there. We may be newbies to the forum, but have owned a redwood for a few years now. We have a 2012 31SL- hard to come by now. When we got this rv as a used unit, the Blu-ray player had been removed; anyone have an idea where I can get one. Also, we were debating on upgrading to a newer unit in approximately the same length(35 or less). Ours could be available @ $45,000 CND.

Welcome to the forum. Any blue ray device should work in your Redwood.

Well, probably not as the integrated blu-ray player was equipped with a 5.1 channel amp system to drive the ceiling speakers. If you just inputted it into the tv and used its internal speakers, that should work.

I think what I would do is what I did to our SOB I traded for our RW. I went on line and picked up a 5.1 home theater receiver with all the latest extras like blue tooth and internet connect-ability. The reason I say this is it is nice to be able to use today's technology with your in house system. Today's Bluetooth devices you can stream or directly hook to a router and have everything you need to use the home theater system like Pandora or like radio services and also stream movies all be able to use the 5.1 surround system. Then find a nice blue ray player of your choosing to add your video capabilities.
