I was told that if you have Slide Toppers that they don't get put on until after paint also, so yep there are things to be done and everything rechecked after paint before the unit ships.

My unit came in on Thursday of this week and it was suposed to be there by Tuesday and left the plant on Monday (about a 15 hour drive). They said that some of the drivers won't pull these when it's windy (although I did without any problems at all). I wonder if it's because of extra fuel cost with the wind because I read somewhere that Redwood has a flat rate for shipping.

Their probably rookie drivers and to be safe they (the shipping company) won't let the m pull these rigs in certain conditions.

Just reading through past notes and I saw a question about direction gen exhaust away from your coach. Gen air is the answer. We dry campers called them uppy pipes. They are light, easy to install and wor really welllittle or no back pressure.

Don't you have to mount a braket on the side of your rig though? I'm in no hurry to mount any brakets through that paint job

Well it is finally here, our beautiful 36RL. Came in last week and went down to the dealer today for the initial inspection. We were at the RV for about 2 and a half hours and looked over in and out. There was even water in the dishwasher where they had ran it to check it before we got there.
We found a few things, nail holes needing to be touched up, spots on the outside paint, a window that would not close properly but nothing major. We are very thrilled. The dealer will fix the problems then we will go back down next week for the exchange.Edited by: Rooksfive

Thanks TravelinAnderson and KR2011.

Also talked to our rep and he said for everyone to look at your vin number to determine if you have a 2012 or 2013. You will have a letter 10 digits from the left if that letter is a "C" then you have a 2012, if that letter is a "D" then you have a 2013. Starting in 2010 they changed that digit to letters and 2010 was an A and 2011 was a B, so 2014 will be an E and so on.
