Anyone know anything about a change with Redwood's 2+5 warranty? I saw something on the RV.net forum suggesting a change.
Thanks

I saw it, but what I saw only said Crossroads, nothing about Redwood that I saw.

We're in Georgia, on our way from Vermont to Lazydays in FLorida to pick up our 2013 36rl on Wednesday. Up until now, we've heard nothing about the "new warranty". I just checked the Redwood site and the brochure posted there still advertizes the 2 + 5 warranty. If we get there and there is nomore 2 + 5 warranty, we are going to be VERY UPSET!!!! This was a major factor in our decision to buy a redwood!!!

I just checked the Crossroads site, and sure enough they are now listing only a 1 year warranty, but agree there is nothing new on the RW site.

I also will be backing out of my deal if that would be the case. That also was a big factor in our purchase. We have a Fleetwood 37 ft that's going and with it I had a lot of problems after the initial one year warranty. That has led led us to purchase the RW 40KB.I would think that they won't back out on this warranty as crossroads product is in a different class.hopefully all things will stay status quo for a long time to come. It's really one of the only things at this points that makes them stand above the rest in this class.Good luck with your delivery and safe travels.

We just picked ours up and it still comes with the 2+5. The documents stated it is, and there is a sticker next to the entry way with it on there as well.

The warranty is only as good as the paper it is written on... I have a sales brochure with 2+5... my sales contract says nothing. We have to hope Redwood honors what they sell.

Just heard from the factory rep I've been working with who says the 2+5 Redwood warranty has not changed. He did mention other Crossroads divisions have made some changes to their warranty.

This is all B.S. The warranty is 2+5 and the 2 years covers everything with in the coach. These rumors are usually started by the competition.

Hi All
Just heard from Andy and here is his response to the Warranty question
Bud--the 2/5 hasn’t changed a bit. Great news, though, in addition
to the 2/5, we’re participating in Crossroads’ “12-point Promise”, see the
attached sheet.
This is easily, easily, the most forward-thinking program
for service/warranty/care that the RV industry has ever seen.
Hope this clarifies, have a nice day,
Andy Wesdorp
All said and done
Cheers

You should catch their "trapped in an invisible Redwood" routine... mind blowing.
btw Welcome Butch&Ann
