Hi, All,

Still a noob, now I have a problem with my 36FBceiling lights. At the trailer rear (?) by the picture window, there isthe bank of Six Halogen Lights, all turned on/off with one switch.

PROBLEM: Oneday, I flipped on the switch and only two of the four ceilinglights came on. The "off" lights are not burned out that I can see...i swapped out a couple. Plus, how would four lights all burn out at once. There was no popping or flickering. Here's a diagram of the ON x and OFF o lights.

I would bemost grateful if someone had an idea of what to do.

My first guess would be that a wire has become disconnected. I would assume that they are wired in parralell so that the wires go from one light to the next. I would start with the light that works and take it down and see if the wire that goes to the next light is connected. If so I would move on from there. A 12v tester would help find the problem.

I had same problem with my RL. I had a bank out & started replacing bulbs. After I took ceiling lamp down, one of the black wires had fallen out of the wire nut. After reinserting, the all worked again.Edited by: 5th_Time

Yah!

Yes....it turned out there was one loose wire in one of the nearest lights...and this loose wire caused the others to not function. Fortunately, I have a good repair guy to work on this stuff under warranty.

Robt.
