Very happy to finally have plenty of tire on my RW.

Very nice Ron , It is nice not having to worry about the sneakers..
When I did the swap at my dealer during the PDI , The tech came in and told me that we could NOT swap them due to the 17.5's being smaller than the Westlakes.. That would void the warranty?? After my discussion with his manager and a quick call to Steve ( the Redwood Rep) , they finished the process...

Firestones.....interesting. I didn't know they had a playing piece in the game. Great upgrade Ron!
Cute story on the Warranty Ford Truck Guy  You should have told him the smaller tire is to his advantage because you would exceed the Redwood warranty mileage limit quicker than with the larger tire. It would take him few days to figure that out.

Yea Brad , I was the only one in that building that KNEW I was not leaving till that swap was done. . . They figured it out.. I even showed them the OPTION LIST on the site... oh well.

I ruined a G614 (bolt in sidewall) last year and because I had a G614 spare on steel wheel, I thought I would save some cash and just have them put the G614 on the pavement and a new Goodyear Marathon as spare. The Goodyear dealer refused, saying the spare had to match the tires on the road. I walked down the road and took a picture of the tire sticker on a new Redwood at the dealer showing G tires and E spare and told him if it's good enough for Redwood - it was good enough for me. He still refused and I bought another G tire.

I bet if you went back in the next day with the rim only and asked them to put on the E tire they would have done it no questions asked.

I have ran into a similar situation in the past. I went back and it was not a problem did not questions asked and it was even the same guy at counter that I talked to the day before.

Slightly more clearance 3/4" to 1".
I am running 100 psi which gives me 4,010 load capacity.
