AC failure

What are chances of both my 15000btu units failing at same time? I believe they are Coleman.
I have a 2014 36 RL. These were upgraded units with one having a heat pump.
What should I expect to pay to have mobile repair guy provide and install? What should I be cautious of?

I am not an HVAC guy in anyway but find it a bit STRANGE that BOTH units would go bad at the same exact time.???

Did you suffer any type of power surge or is the AC line running low enough to cause damage. Did you just go thru a thunder storm by chance?
Is everything else 120V electric functioning fine? Agree very weird that both ACs would die at the same time without something major happening.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think what happened was, the rear unit failed ending up overworking the front to failure. Getting both units replaced for $3600. I think that's a pretty good price.

Each unit will cost you right around $900.00 give or take to purchase , an additional $200 for the heat pump version... .

That's $2,000.00 in parts.... $ 1600 in labor to replace 2 units... Sounds steep to me considering they are plug and play..

IF it were me, I would be haggling that number

I was talking to a friend in my park here in California. He had a one similar unit replaced and he said he paid almost $3000.
Anyway I got to have it. Weather is getting hotter. He threw in the original $125. service charge.
Thanks for return message.

$3,000.00 for 1 AC to be replaced? Just another reason for me to take Cali off my bucket list of places to visit....

I have a 2013 31SL and had to replace the front 15K Colman unit last year. In Florida, having a tech come to the RV park and replace the unit was only $1300. My unit overwork because insulation from the initial build of the RV had gotten sucked up into the coil and cause the compressor to overwork and die.
Both units at once???? I would definitely check my AC input to both units.
As far as the technical ability to change the unit - All plug and play - it took less than a hour to install - I will do all of mine and friends in the future if you have any mechanical ability. A screw gun and a tube of self leveling roof sealant is all you need. (And a strong back and a friend to get it up the ladder onto the roof)
