I have the Hobby Hauler and have been in it 4 out out the last 7 weeks. They forgot the vents in the garage but installed them at the dealer as the venting was there. The question I have is the bedroom. I have the 2 air-conditioning units without heat pump. The closet gets soooo hot I have to leave it opened. Even with all the living area vents closed it still is not as cool in the bedroom as I would like. Anyone have any suggestions? If I was to buy a new one I would have them put a vent in the closet. And I am getting the popping noise from the front that others have posted as the leveling system. Besides that I LOVE the unit.

We keep the closet closed to keep that heat out of the bedroom, and yes that closet gets nice and toasty, but during the day we very seldom go into the closet.

Roni this is not uncommon for any 5th wheel as heat rises so the bedroom area is always warmer than the rest of the trailer. Most trailers with 50amp service usually add a second ac in the bed room area for this reason. Redwood choose to keep both airs towards the rear for height reasons.

I keep the closet closed on my RL because of the heat. My unit stays cool with both A/C running. As for the popping, nine was starting to pop on the front end a few weeks ago. I wiped off the legs and ran them up and down a few times and that seemed to stop it so far.
