Bed Support Failure

Hi Folks, we just wanted to bring to your attention an issue we just discovered on our 38FL. We had noticed what we thought was a slide mis-aliagnment . The slide's top when extended didn't go all the way out. After talking to a local dealer he advised getting in touch with Redwood. As we are currently working the summer at Grand Teton National Park getting to the factory was out of the question.

Upon further investigation, I removed the two draws at the end of the bed and found that the bed support and rollers which supports the bed is mounted on a single 2x4. the board is laid on it's side and over time cannot support the bed. As the bed slowly over time starts to rest on the floor it pulls the top of the slide inward causing the mis-aliagnment.

The problem was solve until I can get back to the factory by placing a 4x4 block under each corner of the bed at it's foot. This made the bed more stable and repositioned the slide back into aliagnment at the top. Slide adjustment was not required afterall.
