Black Tank Supports

I pulled the underbelly down today to do some work & replace the coroplast that was sagging. When I pulled the coroplast down I was shocked to see it was the black tank that was bulging, pushing the cloroplast down. There are no supports at all for the black tank except for the surrounding frame. I really should have taken pictures. The tank is bulging about 4" below the frame rails.

Anyone seen anything like this?

I have a standard paint 36RE with Oklahoma plates, don't follow too close!

Boy, Crossroads had that same problem with their tank supports years ago, and apparently it has continued with them right up until now. I've heard they have same problem on the Rushmore also.
Many tanks have been dropped or almost dropped over the years. To bad.

Adding additional support under my tanks was one of the first things I did.

This is typical construction. Most don't use plywood under their tanks anymore. The angle iron tank bars support the tanks well. I just wouldn't want to travel with any of my tanks more than half full. If the tank bars are too far from the tank and are not tight there can be disaster. They can fall through the underbelly of the coach.

Ya i seen another guy who had an 36RE and his tank dropped down enough that it stressed the output line causing "seepage" into the belly pan, not nice. However his tank was full of solid crud causing excess weight
