Drawer Glides - better out there?

Our plate drawer shot the bearings out of one of the glides and handed me the plastic bearing holder in my hand when I opened the drawer over the weekend. I swapped with the drawer below for now, but before I just order another set from Tiara RV, is there a better glide that fits without too much modification? That plate drawer is pretty heavy.

Just go back on Amazon and you will find some good pones. Just need the length and get at least the 100lb. load. Glide-Rite or Blum hold up well.
Woodworkers Hardware also has many good ones.

Replaced the slides on my desk drawer with 14" heavy duty ball bearing slides purchased on Amazon. Balls shot out same as yours. On examination I found the glides were not spaced equidistant apart. Mis-installment stressed the glides every time the drawer was opened. I had to shim the new glides. Now works great plus I went with heavier duty glides.

I was wondering that - (spacing), as they don't close consistent. I better check the spacing

By this point in time you should not take anything for granted.

Just a spacer here and a spacer there and all will work well. The side mount slides are very particular and must be mounted almost exact.. I few small washers also do the trick. If at first you feel any resistence when closing after the second time you must space or reduce.
Can I send you my shopping list for the RW.... Looks like you enjoy it much more then me!

I would think I enjoy it, but something else drives me. Lately I've become more like Ford Truck Guy and much prefer grilling fresh NM poppers and having a beverage - some of the things I finished over Labor Day were things that have been sitting in the basement for nearly 2 years.
