Has anyone vented for a dryer on their 36RL? I'm just curious how you spotted that 4" hole. I'm assuming because it's in a slide it has to go straight out the siding.

You got it and if you have full body paint it goes thru three stripes it cost me $175.00 for three pints of paint to paint the vent cover.

My dryer vent got installed after the the fact so I decided to go with chrome. The chrome makes the dryer dry faster even when it's holding still. LOL I also put a chrome exhaust tip on the generator.....now that's class!

I no longer own a Redwood because of the dryer vent! I currently own a "Redwo" the dryer vent took out the the last "od" of redwood. Dealer said once they get in new decals they will come out and take the remaining decals off and place them in a different spot so I can once again own a Redwood.

We literally just had one added to our 38BR and since we went with a combo unit they put everything on the right as you look at it from the inside. From the outside with full body paint it's 95% in the beige paint and just touches the edge of the maroon stripe. They have to rework some of the paint on the top edge of the Redwood so I'm going to have them paint the vent cover Beige and call it a day.

Our dealer cut the hole as described for a combo unit in an earlier post.

It's important if you have a Splendide unit to have a "straight shot" from the combo to the vent, these units have a bad internal vent routing (a very narrow rubber duct inside the unit). We've had our unit shut down each winter for the past three because of this vent blocking. It's a bit of a pain to have to go inside the back of the unit to unblock it. For us, the Splendide combo unit was a bad choice.
