Dump valve

I installed a gate valve on the dump line 2 years ago and I really like having it there. My new dump hose fittings are really tight and when I attach them to the valve it turns. OK, no big deal, but when I disconnect, the gate valve tries to leave the dump line on the coach. Has anyone installed a set screw into the coupling between a gate valve and the main line 2 pin male connector?

Not a set screw, but Used a large hose clamp over the ears to secure an extension, works great.

Thanks. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
