Noticed a rear marker light out. Relunctantly grabbed a ladder and a knife knowing I was going to have to carve out some sealant, and nothing. A little lap sealant on top of the light and that was it. Popped the lens off, jiggled the bulb and back in service.
Not sure if the lack of sealant is s good thing or a bad thing, but closer to what I had on prior RVs. Wonder if there is just a caulk happy guy at the factory that got to some of the units. None of my lights are caulked, just gaskets.

I'm assuming your talking about the clearance lights, not the porch lights? I had the front top red clearance light almost lose the lense, there's no noticeable sealant on mine. Or at the very least there's just a dab to hold the lens in place, until it doesn't.

Ah, maybe I misunderstood then. I thought folks had the marker lights caulked in place as well and had to cut out the lenses to replace the bulb. Maybe it was just the porch lights, and I didn't look at those.
