Hasanyone dealt with the "fender flop" on the RL?.

Ever since I washed it for the first time, I have been meaning to ask if anyone has resolved the issue where the bottom of the slide panels arefree to move in/out 2 to 3 inches! It'salmost like some critical braces or struts were left off the insidebottom of the slides. All that movement can't be good for the unit and seems like it could eventually result inmetal fatigue - or crack those layers of paint and clear once the summer heat really sets in. Due to the design, the curb side seems to be "looser" than the street side.

Anyone come up withideas on how to makebraces or brackets and what locations to attach them?

I returned it to my dealer Lazy days and they installed a bracket, no more flopping. It was all accomplished under warranty. We have a 36FL with 5 slides. The only slide fender "flopping" was the driver side kitchen slide out.

Good info. I will have my service department look at that when we go in on June 21st.

We were even missing a screw on our 36RL when we did our original walk thru. Windish fixed it before we picked up the unit.

No wonder they were flopping around! I found brackets hanging unattached to upper frame on curbside. Stripped and missing screws on top and bottom on the street side. No holes drilled where the screws should go. Hmmmm...(??)

You might want toslide under yours and take a look.Edited by: 5th_Time

Windish does have a few screws missing.

Windish fixed just about everything we are having trouble with. They still have to put our clear coat on the custom paint and they have to order the fender that scratches on it and they are just going to replace the whole fender (yes I will check the fender for loose screws). They sent the microwave plate the next day and they filed all the nail holes in the trim before we left and fixed one of our windows that would not close. We are very pleased with their effort. We were very disappointed with service but Corey at Windish is staying on everything we are needing so far.
