Flapping fenders!!
I got fed up with my fenders flapping while traveling, so here's my fix, it didn't stop it completely, but I'm very satisfied with the results.

Did you use stainless brackets?

Looks like a new project for me
My fenders look like they are waving at somebody going down the road.

On mine the flapping fenders were due to the sheet metal screws loosening up. I replaced them with 1/4" bolts and nuts (I think that's the right size) and the problem seems to be gone now.

Danny,
Looks like you did a super job on that. The Redwood Factory Service Center (then at Syracuse, IN plant) installed a nearly identical fix when I took our coach in for its first annual inspection in the fall of 2012. This past September, I took the coach in to the Crossroads Factory Service Center at Topeka, IN. I had noticed that one of the screw holes on the curbside fender had cracked through to the edge (actually I think that had occurred before the bracing was added previously). I ask them about it and they decided to replace the entire fender (no charge). Love the factory service center.......hope I can keep using them for my work. Guess I will find out this next year when I try to schedule again.

Didn't they used to make a computer monitor that you could pivot 90 degrees! That would be nice for the forum

Shane, no the brackets are not stainless just the bolts. My plastic little fenders were starting to crack at some of the screws so I took them off & reinforced each hole with JB Weld, worked well.

I have one plastic screw hole on the fender that is cracked. Are you using regular JR weld or do they have a plastic version
Been years since I used it. I have to build a bracket for the curbside front of the fender. The rest of the fender and the other side have enough reinforcement that they don't flap in the wind
Thanks
