Did you receive one, or two, house batteries when you bought your coach?

Dealer put in a second battery on our unit for no additional cost. Just make sure they are the same batteries.

Ditto...came with one, but happily I had gotten the salesman to commit to two. He had left dealership by the time the unit arrived, but they honored his verbal. So far we are pleased with the dealership--Ocean Grove RV in St. Augustine, FL.

During the PDI, I checked the one battery box and assumed the second box had the second battery.

My dealer Lazy Days Tucson installed two type 27 batteries in my 2012 RW34SK. 29's would have been better but I am satisified with the 27's.

I think if mine shows up with 1 battery, and I'm sure it will, I may go to the twin 6V I have now. I have never had a more trouble free and longwinded battery system as these have done over the last 7 years.

Ours arrived with one "No Name" brand with no marking as to Group size or anything. So I just moved over our two almost new Group 29s from the Montana. Worked for us.

The factory ships the trailers with a cheep no-name battery so the emergency break away switch will work (that's what I was told). These batteries aren't very strong and the trailers should have 2 batteries installed by the dealers. One easy way to tell if the dealer did their job is by looking for battery cables going to the second battery box.

Do they have inverters on the coach or just converters? how hard would it be to install an outlet attached to an inverter. for like a coffee maker? and also a couple solar panels on the roof?

Negative on the inverter, only a converter. I am installing a 1500W Inverter and solar panel

We installed six AGM batteries, a 2000 watt inverter, two solar panels and an autostart for our generator. This set up has worked very well for us - never a dead battery or the generator having to come on in the middle of the night.

Best way to ch for 2 batteries is have them open and show you and be sure they are the same brand and size......they ran 2nd set of cable inside the rear box but did not only had 1 battery installed and t wasn't even what I had asked for...they theninstalled 2 matching

Kevin, how much have you invested in your upgrade to inverter and solar panels?

dnghz0,

My dealer installed the batteries, solar panel and inverter before I took delivery. As I recall, the total cost for these items was just under $4,700.

We bought a system last month for $2,400 - single solar panel ($600), 1500W inverter, wiring, switches and installation. With only a 1500 W inverter we will be unable to run the microwave.

Whendeveloping the specificationsour statement of requirements included keeping the batteries charged and to provide AC for lighting, electronics and small appliances when not on shore power. Predominent location will be sunny climates. If you want to use the microwave on batteries you require the 2000W inverter, which was an extra $200 to $300.
