Got to pull ours around the block yesterday. After the paint is off the disks they worked great. Very nice having brakes now.

They are awesome! Still have mine set to 5.5 and they always let me know they are working.

I just found out that my new 31SL is due to be completed (before paint) on Nov 15. Based on this thread I went back (two weeks ago) and updated my order to include the disc brakes. I am already sleeping better and my unit has not even been built yet...

Last week I was on my way out for my final trip of the year... I had an older lady pull out in front of me , and slow down like she was stopping , then stop ( at green) ... I actually came to a complete stop , and had to crawl up some... I had never imagined that I would be stopping before I needed to !! THANK YOU TITAN , And Ron !
By the way , my wife turned her head and just smiled.. PRICELESS

Excellent! Thats how mine was done - it was already in the line when I placed our order, and they pulled the axles and updated to 8K and disk brakes. Had a little trouble on delivery with a defective actuator, but they are awesome! Probably one of the top 5 items I would make sure I have from now on.

Titan Brakes

Just got Ron's Titan brakes installed by John AT MY HOUSE. John was great and the brakes are awesome. Don't wait. Do it now.

I've been preaching Disc Brakes for about the last 5 years, right after we had our Montana upgraded.

If all goes well, I will have Titan's installed on our RL on Nov 11 here at Val Vista in Mesa. The only bad thing is I'll have to wait until April to enjoy them.

One thing I will add to doing the Titan Disc's, Test fit everything. I had a fitting on one of the calipers that I could not screw the hose into. Trip to Napa and all good. Everything else was great.

Brad,
Yes things are going well. Good press from Trailer Life helps. Have a good installer doing a lot of travelling. He is headed from OKC in a couple of weeks for 3 installs. Lubbock, Tucson then Mesa to get Jim's done.

Yes there are a couple of checks.
1. is the brass fitting on the caliper. sometimes in transit the brass get squashed and end up not round and the flex line will not fit.
2.The other thing is many of the 9/16 stud applications will take a spacer behind the caliper bracket so the caliper fits over the rotor properly.
