It occurred to me that there wasn't a thread about this that I could find. Just curious how many people Fulltime in their Redwood? We are fulltiming in ours and love it. Only minor improvements are necessary to make it very comfortable.

We have been in ours for over a year now and love it. We previously had an Alpha and wish this had the room that one did. But, we would not give this up for anything due to the quality and looks of our coach. We also had a few minor things to change so that it would be comfortable full time. We still have our house in Denver but I haven't seen it in about a year and a half.

I don't full time but we do "long time" in ours. Sometimes we're out for 3 weeks at a time and have pulled ours I little over 24,000 miles

Well, what can we say....we certainly are full timers traveling all over the United States, but currently are SOB's ( Some Other Brand) until next week when the 38GK arrives. We have been full timers for several years and we do love the lifestyle but doing it in a Redwood is the ultimate!!!

We have been full-timing since late 2005. We started in a Hitchhiker II and then a Jayco Designer. Even with the issues of our 36RE, we would not change our decision to buy it. The issues are fixable and that is why we are headed for the factory in three weeks.

Johhboytoo -
We will be at the Southwest RV Supershow at the Dallas Market Hall starting on Sept 12th through the15th. The Professor and I will be doing seminars for the public so we will be in and out of our booth all day(s). If you are in the area...drop by to see us.
Your rig is beautiful! The wait is over for you and the adventures now begin.... ours will be at the end of next week (hopefully). keeping fingers crossed.

GREAT...We are staying at the Treetops Carefree RV Resort in Arlington. (traffic is better from that side) The park has someone who will come in and take our pups out to walk them & feed, etc. It works well for us when we are at the Dallas Market Hall.

Bought our full time unit(Montana Big Sky) in Jan. 2002. Retired in June, 2002, sold the 1 1/2 acres with 3 bdrm house and 40X60 shed, moved what we had to have into the camper end of June. and haven't looked back since. Bought a Carriage in 2006, and looked at a Redwood in July, 2012. Asked the wife how long she wanted to keep up this lifestyle and she said as long as we can which was my feeling also. Bought the Redwood.

Been fulltimers since July 1, 2008. Started w/ 2002 Cedar Creek that we had since 2005, traded for a Big Country and towed it probably 20,000 miles, then traded way up for 2013 Redwood 36 FB in Nov. 2012. Would'nt trade back for both the others and $$$.Had very minor problems since.

Sure....would love to. Know that we actually work while at the Show. :-) We do this gig almost every September. I think on Thursday we get get off at 6pm. Other nights at 8 pm. We leave the area on Sunday headed to the next event.
I will let you know if we come into the are before Wednesday. There is always that possibility.

We too still have a house in Western New York, but don't use it much. Last year we were there for only 99 nights, this year will be only about 80 nights, and next year will be Zero. Have thought about selling, but the other half still likes the security of a home to go back to if needed. We had the small Montana 2955RL prior to our RW in Apr 2012.

The Cedar Creek and Big Country were two that were in the running for us when we bought our Redwood. They are both very nice units.

Happy Camper unless you have serious issues it would'nt surprise me if it took less than 4 days, they are very thorough. Plus they usually find a stopping point so you can stay in it over night.
