When extending the kitchen slide it appears the frame of the slide-out is catching on something that I have been unable to identify. Once the slide is out, it is not level. My wife had a devil of a time making fried eggs Easter morning as the slimey buggers would roll to the back of the pan. Has anyone needed to have their slider leveled and can it be accomplished by DIY? Thanks.

We have a similar situation but not as much as you apparently have. While I am not technically challenged, I do not think I will attempt it myself. We've scheduled a Crossroads Service visit in Topeka, IN in July to take care of this and a number of other warranty items. That's what our 2+5 warranty is for.

I have a similar issue with our bedroom slide on our 38BR... when the slide comes back in it is starting to rub the lino at the top of the staircase and I am afraid we will get a rip... getting it fixed as part of our annual inspection next Wednesday.

Are they coming to you, or are you going to them?

Had the same thing on our RL. Redwood tech adjusted the slide height while I was at the service center. One or two more slides & the linoleum would have definitely have ripped through. That was close...

We are going to them; however, any Route 66 dealership should be able to correct the problem.

Seems as though you folks have a much stronger dealer network out "there" than those of us in the mid Atlantic region.

Go to http://www.route66rv.com/ and enter the desired zipcode of where you are and it will give you a list of participating dealers. During our travels, we found this network of participating dealers very helpful. Being a member allows you to go to the head of the line for service, which is critical when you are full-timer going across the country. It also provides roadside assistance; 10% off all parts and service; and, it performs warranty work for Redwood.

We have a lot of Crossroad dealers in the Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi area as well. I wish they would come up with a directory for Service. That is where Keystone Montana has us beat. There service has been #1 for 12 years now. Two of there dealers in Hammond Louisiana let you stay plugged in at there service center no matter how long it takes for repair.

We've had our 36RL back to Lazydays in Tampa, FL twice now and they set us up with water and electric and emptied our tanks for us as needed the whole time they were doing work. Great service!
