So I see three posts above from people planning to attend the Tampa show next January, we will also be in Florida, in the Sarasota area for the winter and plan to attend the show.

Sounds like a possible gathering of Redwoods in the Sunshine State... any takers???

Yesterday, I picked up a retail MSRP price sheet from my dealer, revised date 5/21/13.They have added to the options list a second lav in bedroom(RL,RE only, std GK)

During our "chat" I was informed another standard paint colour will become available,,,all tan with black highlights (front cap) for those not desiring the white.

Also, soon to be available,.....38FL.

So rally 2013 guys....what do you know???

Tried ordering a 36fl early this month only to find the 36fl was no longer available, however was given the opportunity to order a brand new 38FL instead..So it appears the 38FL is available now, however no pictures available at this time. Got a set of engineering drawings for the new 38fl which is an improvement on the 36fl floor plan. Some very nice changes has been added to this unit most notedly in the living room. Both the kitchen and bedroom has also gotten some nice upgrades. In speaking with the factory I understand the Prototype unit went in for paint yesterday. Hope to see pictures real soon.As the wife and I are waiting with baited breath for our very own 38FL. Edited by: JellyStonePark

We have a 2012 36FL and would be interested in a newer model predicated on pricing and trade in. Could you send us a copy of the prints? Our email is coljdm60@gmail.com. Thanks

They have had the lav in the bedroom available for a while. It was on the 11-12 order sheet when we ordered.

We have a 2014 38GK. Order when it was a 2013 as well. Got ours just a few weeks after AtomAnt.

We have the 2nd lav in the bedroom. Was standard even on the 2013. Since we ordered ours so late in the 2013 season, I think most of what we got what we expected. Not sure there where any changed features on ours from 2013 to 2014.

We really love the 38GK. The pantry space is awesome and just what we needed. I think this is a coach that we will be in for some time to come.

JellyStonePark, was anything significant changed in the 38FL layout? For example, moving the entertainment center to the front cap (like so many other brands do) is something I wouldn't want to see.

We will visit the Tampa RV show as well. Let us know the dates you plan to attend and we will wander down from St. Augustine, stay a day or two at the show and hopefully, your schedule will allow some free time for a visit from fellow Redwood owners.

We will be spending the winter about 35 minutes north of Tampa and also intend to go to the show. We would love to meet up with everyone.

I would be concerned about the sofa being in the nose. That's where our closet is and it is the hottest place in the entire RV. I would hate to think I had to sit there in the summer time. Does that seem a concern to anyone else? Maybe because our nose is black?

What is the overall length of the 38FL, THE 36 FL is 40'11" so the 38 must be 44'? Right.

We were told at the time we placed our order for the 38FL that the overall size of the unit remained the same. Space for new features were achieved by moving things a few inches here and there over the full length of the unit.

According to the website, the 36FL is Exterior Length 40' 2"

I think the 38gk is 40' 11", so maybe the 38FL is too ??? dunno, but we'll see when the website is updated or you get yours !!! Edited by: johnboytoo

So the entertainment is now just to the left of the stairs as you walk into the living room. Rather then that being a half wall on the 36FL, that wall now extends to the ceiling and they have been able to keep the fireplace and include a larger LG flat panel above the fireplace. We just heard from our Rep at the factory that our unit will roll off the line third week of September then five days in paint. Can't wait to see pictures soon.
Hmmm, entertainment center to the left of the stairs? I hope that doesn't close off the living room too much. Real recliners is a plus though.

The 38GK is 41' 8". It's really long and ours weighed in at 14,490 from the factory. Now, that's pretty heavy, but it includes genny, washer, dryer, 40lb tanks, dishwasher, and outdoor entertainment. We're gonna have to buy a BIG tow vehicle.

There's a Ford dealer (Woodhouse) in Nebraska that sells Fords cheaper than anybody else. Piperguy made a deal all the way from Maryland and still saved money.
