A couple of weeks ago our house and our RW were struck by lightning. A 60" and a 42" TV were blown in the house, along with the Direct TV boxes. The 55" TV and half of the Winegard Pathway X2 were blown in the RV. I say half of the X2 because it still gets satellite 110, but no longer gets the other, and no longer adjusts automatically.
We've replaced the HD LG 55" with a Samsung UHD 55", but we still need a new satellite antenna. We aren't ready to spring for the super-duper roof mounted automatic unit yet, so I'm looking at the G2+. It appears to be a slight upgrade over the X2 since it can be rooftop mounted and can use a 50' cable instead of 25' like the X2. What do you all think?
