I agree, Lazy Days is so big you can easily get lost in the shuffle, for a newbie it is very easy to get overwhelmed there !!!

I also agree, not much follow up after the sale, it is such a high volume dealership they have to move on to the next prospect and turn them into a customer.

It is somewhat amazing to me about the lack of customer appreciation exhibited by many RV dealerships. It is just incredible. It is almost as though that many dealerships hope they never see the customer again after making the sale.

Yep, service is a sideline / non-profit center for most dealers.
What drives the bottom line is sales, not service.

That's the reason I found a Service Center at Home Base in Western New York, that only does Service and Custom Remodeling no Sales. So to stay in business they have to do a good job and take care of their Customers.

I just experienced the same thing with our new 39MB. Our coach is only two months old and the back window shade fell sometime during our trip from Arizona to Oklahoma. I agree two brackets will never hold that shade. By the way it is ridiculous that parts can't be obtained from the factory. I just traded in my Landmark and it was always easy to deal with there "customer service". Wake up REDWOOD!

The Factory shipped me 8 Complete Bracket Assemblies and 8 additional Clip Assemblies that pop rivet on the L brackets.
Just have to get the right person in Customer Service.

Hopefully Camping World is getting mine shipped to me soon. Customer service informed me only dealerships can get parts as of January 1st.

If that is the new policy for Redwood, it is not a good one for fulltimers.

We need to bring this up at the Redwood Rally in August.

I don't have a lot of faith in Lazy Days (at least in Tucson), I had a dead furnace on an older RV and they tried to repair it. The tech was a "parts changer", first he changed the motor (after getting a second one from California, the first replacement one arrived DOA and they had no stock in inventory), didn't solve the problem, I couldn't wait in Tucson any longer and went to Al's RV in Yuma, they came out to our lot, diagnosed the problem by reading the LED's on the main board and replaced a sub board in about 10 minutes with a new one that was on the truck, fixed the problem. I made some noise and Lazy Days did refund my money for the "non work" however.

I guess we will see how we are handled in a couple of weeks when we return to Lazy Days for repairs to the Heat Pump that has not worked since they removed the A/C Unit to fix the water leak. (Wire under A/C gasket at factory assembly, guess the rain booth was not working that day )
We have an appointment on May 6th to get it corrected.

Yeah, I guess the rain booth was doa when ours went through, we had a leak yesterday coming in through the antenna shaft. I will go into repair mode when it dries up.
After full timing for a year I just try to fix everything myself, usually at my expense as most dealers don't understand "full-time rving". With the exception of Camping World Mesa, I got some extraordinary service out of them.

What part of the world are you in now?

Same here, most of the warranty repairs I have done myself.
I was not in the mood for pulling the A/C unit and replacing the foam gasket
I would agree with most dealers not understanding Fulltiming, they think you should leave it for a week or so for minor repairs.
The antenna leak is most likely the rubber boot on the cable, ours came off and leaked.
I put some sealer / adhesive on the inside of the boot and put it back on the antenna head, no more leak.
We are in Tallahassee, FL currently taking care of some business, we head to Tampa FL on the 28th of this month.
