Problem between Rear Cab and Roof
Today I noticed something looked wrong when looking at the rear of our Redwood.
Something has come loose in the sealing putty between the rear cap and the roof membrane.
Guess I will be calling the dealer tomorrow to setup and appointment to get it looked at.

It looks like that piece of trim has come loose, possibly a screw popped back out. I had such a hard time solving a minor leak at that spot on a previous 5ver that I finally put EternaBond tape across the entire width of the roof where the trim was. Solved the leak and never had to caulk that area again.

I was surprised that piece is under such tension, I can push it down but it just springs back up.
Due to the 5 year structural warranty, I am gong to let the dealer have a crack at this first.
If the dealer cannot get it corrected right, I may have to end up putting EternaBond on it.

It's hard to tell, but it almost looks like it came from the factory that way.

If you tighten the metal strip to tight it will spring up on either side of the screw
If th screw comes out it will cause the metal to try and lift
This looks what may be happening under the putty used to waterproof

Me too Dave, not sure why it is under pressure.

I was not sticking up till just recently, I have washed the roof once and did my A/C repairs a few weeks ago, it was not sticking up then.
We have not moved since I did the A/C work a few weeks ago so no road time to upset it.
