Problem with curbside slide

On my 2016 39MB we bought a month ago we notice that the inside wood trim on the top of the slide is bowed out on front end and rear end. When I got a stool so I could look at the top it appears that there is a small square piece of plywood being used as a spacer between the trim and the board that seals against the interior wall. The street side does not have this spacer. It looks to me like someone or factory has tried to plumb up the slide out in a very amature manner which is bending the wood trim. Would appreciate comments or advice. I can post photos

Problem with curbside slide

We have no spacer in our 2013 36FB slides but I have noticed how the trim has loosened up and had to re-do the mounting. Every time I re-do something I try to reinforce things the way they should have been done initially.
