If you look closely there are 2 to 4 wood screws depending on size of valance holding them up.

The screws are most likely black & up under the valance VERY hard to locate. One of mine had small screws into the bunched up fabric on both lower corners. So it's kind of a hide & seek game with the screws.

Look up under the roller and you will need a Phillips Screwdriver that holds the Valance to the Shade brackets. It's helpful if you have someone hold the Valance while you unscrew the screws.

Mine too, I made three brackets for the rear myself out of my bracket bucket in the shop.No more problems...
