Residential Refrigerator Cooling while on the road

We have a new 2016 38RL and it came with a Whirlpool residential refrigerator. When we travel from one location to another the refrigerator loses power and cooling. Is there an action we can take to retain cooling while on the road?

Do you have a battery and inverter? Also is the inverter turned on, if so, what does the remote display say? Also any indicator lights on the inverter?

We also have a 16 38RL.. You will need to turn on the inverter,,, There is a switch on the wall inside the cabinet as you walk in the door...

How is the inverter identified? Is it marked? Can you share a photo?
